Renovation update - Classroom Changes

CLASSROOM CHANGES IN TERM 4

We are getting closer and closer to the start date of the renovation and preparations are in full swing. One important aspect of the renovation is some temporary changes to the classrooms in Term 4.

We have been planning this out and I am impressed how teachers are able to see these inconveniences as lovely little opportunities for learning about adapting and accommodating and managing little inconveniences with our little cherubs. It’s great learning for life.

Here is a breakdown of the room changes in preparation for Term 4. The room moves will start to happen in week 8 this term but will be staggered. Your class teachers will keep you informed and updated.

  • Class 1 will move into the Playgroup Space next door to Kindy.
  • Class 2-3 will move into the current class 4-5. The classroom at the top of the stairs near pizza oven.
  • Class 4-5 will move into the Music Room.
  • Playgroup will move to Bush Circle.
  • Craft group will move to the Library.
  • After School Care will move into the Kindy Classroom.

It’s always a little exciting and fun when we have some changes to our physical environment. Teachers are speaking with their classes about it to ensure that all students are prepared for it.  The children will be able to help and participate in the move which will add to the excitement. We appreciate and look forward to your support in this.
